About The Creator
Julia Chalkidis never planned to become an author, she simply followed an idea she couldn’t ignore. What began as a playful spark turned into a book built entirely from scratch, shaped by instinct rather than influence. She intentionally avoided looking at other journals so this one could grow in its own direction, with its own voice, humor, and heart.
For Julia, this book is more than a collection of prompts, it’s a small legacy. A piece of her that might sit on someone’s shelf, spark a laugh years from now, or be rediscovered in a dusty drawer long after the moment has passed. She hopes it brings people joy, reflection, and the reminder that our stories, even the messy, ridiculous, wonderfully human ones are worth keeping.
After growing up in Hungary, she moved to the US, became a citizen, and later found love in Germany, where she raised her now-adult son with her Greek husband. Following an early retirement from a career as an automotive CAD designer, she now embraces life as a mother, traveler, and citizen of the world, genuinely loving to talk to people and hear their stories. My Not-So-Serious Legacy Book is her debut release, created with intention, curiosity, and a deep love for the messy, ridiculous stories that connect us all.
